\"MYDEPOSIT<\/p>\n

You should now be rejoice as the Government will pay the deposit for your first home under this MYDEPOSIT 2018 scheme.<\/h4>\n

There is a time limit for this scheme where the applications for MYDEPOSIT 2018 will be open until 15 February, 2018<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

So if you are a Malaysians who are planning to own their first home then you should take full advantage of the MyDeposit scheme now. As a matter in-fact, this applications for First House Deposit Financing Scheme or MYDEPOSIT 2018 has been open since 15 December 2017 but always better late then never ….<\/p>\n

The financing scheme was first announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during Budget 2016. This scheme is to help new home owner and making home ownership possible for first-time home buyers of property not more than RM500,000.<\/p>\n

Through MYDEPOSIT 2018<\/strong><\/em>, new first home owners are able to get a one-off contribution of 10% on the sale price or a maximum of RM30,000 (whichever is lower). This amount does not need to be paid back as it is a contribution from the government.<\/p>\n

\"MYDEPOSIT<\/p>\n

You must meet the below criteria in order for you to be able to apply for this scheme:<\/p>\n

1. You are a Malaysian
\n2. You are Aged 21 and above
\n3. The applicant is buying a property for the first time
\n4. You must be able to secure financing for the property from financial institutions
\n5. Your gross monthly household income lies between RM3,000 and RM15,000
\n6. The property must be priced below RM500,000<\/p>\n

To be eligible for this scheme, the property must be from licensed new housing projects from a licensed housing developer. Housing projects by the federal and state governments such as PPA1M, PR1MA, RUMAWIP, PPR, and MyHome is not be eligible.<\/p>\n

Another thing is that the properties bought via the MyDeposit 2018 scheme cannot be sold for 10 years, effective from Sale & Purchase Agreement date.<\/p>\n

Those who are interested to apply for MyDeposit may submit their applications online<\/p>\n

HOW TO APPLY:<\/p>\n

First, sign up for an account on the Sistem Pengurusan Perumahan Negara (SPRN) website<\/a>\u00a0and fill up all details required. The applicant will have to provide the following supporting documents:<\/p>\n

FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE MARRIED:-
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant and applicant’s spouse identity card
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant’s dependent’s identity card\/birth certificate
\n\u2022 Copy of marriage certificate
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant and spouse’s latest payslip
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant and spouse’s EPF statement
\n\u2022 Copy of statutory declaration indicating that the applicant is a self-employed\/unemployed applicant, which must be signed by Commissioner for Oaths
\n\u2022 Copy of employment verification letter for applicant and spouse
\n\u2022 Copy of Center Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) report of applicant and spouse
\n\u2022 Copy of Letter of Offer\/confirmation of purchase of property from licensed housing developer
\n\u2022 Letter of support and confirmation by local leader
\n\u2022 Copy of utility bill (electricity\/water) of applicant’s residential address<\/p>\n

FOR INDIVIDUAL PURCHASE:-
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant’s identity card
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant’s dependent’s identity card\/birth certificate
\n\u2022 Copy of statutory declaration indicating that the applicant is of a single status
\n\u2022 Copy of death certificate\/divorce certificate (if applicable)
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant’s latest payslip
\n\u2022 Copy of applicant’s EPF statement
\n\u2022 Copy of employment verification letter for applicant
\n\u2022 Copy of statutory declaration indicating that the applicant is a self-employed\/unemployed applicant, which must be signed by Commissioner for Oaths
\n\u2022 Copy of Center Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) report of applicant
\n\u2022 Copy of Letter of Offer\/confirmation of purchase of property from licensed housing developer
\n\u2022 Letter of support and confirmation by local leader
\n\u2022 Copy of utility bill (electricity\/water) of applicant’s residential address
\n\u2022 Copy of OKU card \/ OKU confirmation letter (if applicable)<\/p>\n

The application process will be completed within two months after the closing date. Applications will be open until 15 February 2018.<\/p>\n
