Not so good news if you’re an Apple user as Apple admitted that they slowing down their phones<\/strong><\/em>, the older iPhones<\/h4>\n

Apple\u00a0is now facing several lawsuits<\/strong><\/em><\/a> after the tech giant admitted this week that it was deliberately slowing down the performance of its older\u00a0iPhones.<\/p>\n

In their statement, Apple said to have\u00a0slow down their older phones (iPhone 6\/iPhone 6, iPhone 6s\u00a0and iPhone SE)\u00a0via a recent software update was necessary because they would want to counter their issue on aging batteries in older phones which causing devices to unexpectedly shut down.<\/p>\n

In a statement to Tech Crunch<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Apple said, \u201cOur goal is to deliver the best experience for customers,\u00a0which includes overall performance and prolonging the life of their devices.\u00a0Lithium-ion batteries become less capable of supplying peak current demands\u00a0when in cold conditions, have a low battery charge or, as they age over time. This can result in the device unexpectedly shutting down to protect its electronic components.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Last year we released a feature for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s\u00a0and iPhone SE\u00a0to smooth out the instantaneous peaks\u00a0only\u00a0when needed\u00a0to\u00a0prevent the device from unexpectedly shutting down during these conditions.\u00a0We\u2019ve now extended that feature\u00a0to iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2, and plan to add support for other products in the future.”<\/p>\n

As reported, many people are frustrated with the slows down and this pushes them to think about upgrading their phone to the newer version. This can actually be resolved if the user just simply change their older iPhone battery to resolve the issue. People are furious cause\u00a0Apple haven\u2019t been transparent about this issue.<\/p>\n

Biggest Apple fan going, but they are ruining their own brand. Software issues, hardware issues and now proof they purposely slow older iPhones. Stupid, stupid, stupid.<\/p>\n
