CPS Malaysia is having their Technician Certification Course. There are 2 sessions available for the course that you can choose. Only 20 seats are available for each session, bringing a total of 40 slots for the whole course.
In a report published by the Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine 2016, [Noor Faradila P. et al., 2016], 34.7% out of 291 respondents not using a child restraint system (CRS) in Central Peninsular Malaysia, indicated that their child has outgrown the CRS. However, when they were asked to specify the child’s age, they are only 4 to 8 years old. 17.9% didn’t use any CRS because their children protest and cry, 15.5% because they think CRS is expensive.
The Ministry of T ransport has announced that CRS usage will be made mandatory by 2020. However, awareness of safety seat usage and child passenger safety, in general, is still poor in Malaysia. Would you like to equip yourself in order to help us advocate this awareness among the public?
We would like to invite all of you, who has the same passion as us, to attend this four days course of Child Passenger Safety Technician. Be a certified technician and relay correct and updated information to the public.
To pass the course, technician candidates MUST participate in a community check-up event with families and children which will fall on the 20th & 26th April for each session respectively..Interested? E-mail us at register@cpsmalaysia.org now or click the ticket link to sign up.
